About Sam - Founder of Improving People

Hello!

I pride myself on living life to it’s full potential and I have a habit of making opportunities wherever I can.

At the age of 35, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My children were just 4 and 6 at the time and I was navigating this life shock as a single parent. Over the next three years, I faced two further recurrences and significant treatment and today I am incredibly grateful to be healthy and thriving.

I have made it my life’s mission to make the most of what I have to offer and experience.

At my core, I understand that time (and health!) is the most valuable thing we have and these experiences profoundly shaped my perspective.

I believe that life is too short to waste on things that aren’t meaningful (including training!).

I have always chosen to use my skills, experience and voice to inspire and motivate.

My authentic communication and ability to build relationships, along with an abundance of enthusiasm and resilience, has been integral to my diverse career, allowing me to influence positive change quickly with a wide array of personalities.

Transitioning from the entertainment industry in to the corporate world cemented my understanding that although we may be playing different roles during our days, we all have the capacity for greatness and we all have areas of development. Some people are just more self aware and ready to grow than others.

That’s where I come in.

With over 25 years of experience of improving people and teams through diverse and dynamic training programmes, helping hundreds of individuals and teams succeed, I founded Improving People with a simple mission: to help people make the most out of who they are and what they do.

Recognising that the right guidance can transform lives and businesses, I create opportunities for people to improve.

Let’s have a chat to explore the value I can bring to your people and your business.
